It Takes a Village Toy Drive

It Takes a Village! will be running a holiday toy drive for Kianga House on Sunday, December 9 from 3-6 p.m.

Kianga house is a 22 year old transitional family shelter located at 1504 Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights. Residents are young women, 18-24 years of age, who are pregnant or parenting an infant or toddler.

Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy for a child age 0-4. Kianga House could also always use baby clothes (0-12 mo), hats and gloves, non-perishable foods, twin sized bed linins, blankets, sheets, towels and toiletries.

Please bring your donations to the Village, located at 721 Franklin Avenue, on Sunday, December 9.

The Village will also be holding their first annual holiday bake sale during this time. Stop by to enjoy some home baked goods – all proceeds will benefit the Village.
